We have two bell tents set in our orchard.
Each tent sleeps two people in a wooden framed double bed, with white, Egyptian cotton bed linen and, for the cooler months, Scottish woollen blankets and hot water bottles. We have super-soft duck and feather down duvets and pillows for your complete comfort.
In the hot summer months, the sides of the tents lift up making it feel as if you truly are sleeping under the stars with the warm breeze all around you.
Inside your tent you will find books to read and some classic board games to enjoy playing whilst you sip a chilled drink in the quiet evenings, with only the ciccadas and crickets for company.
Each tent has a private dry-loo and solar shower close by. The path ways are lit at night with small solar lanterns so making your way from one place to the other is hazard-free!
There is a minimum stay of three nights during the summer (June, July and August) and two nights during spring (April and May) and autumn (September and October).
Each tent sleeps two people sharing a double bed.
One tent per night costs £150
This includes breakfast for two people, your Welcome Hamper and all linen and towels.
Private evening meals cost £35 per person including a bottle of local, bio-dynamic wine.
Communal evening meals cost £20 per person.
On arrival you will receive a Welcome Hamper including organic tea bags, freshly ground coffee, homemade biscuits and a bottle of local bio-dynamic wine from Chateau de Mayragues. In the hamper will also be some Le Petit Marseillaise soap, lip balm and cream for you to use during your stay and take away with you on departure.
Each bell tent has a path which leads to your private dining table with chairs with stunning views across the forest. Our unique site on the side of this little hill, surrounded by ancient oak woodlands, makes Pech Long a truly serene and unique place to visit.
Inside your tent is an old Indian trunk in which you have everything you could need for your stay should you wish to self-cate , including:
Your breakfast will be delivered to your tent each morning at the time of your choice and will include croissant, butter, jam, fresh milk, fresh seasonal fruit, local bread, yoghurt and honey from the Puycelsi Miellerie.
Supper is a relaxed affair, either catering for yourselves at your tent and eating at your private dining space, or eating on the terrace where Helen will serve a meal for family, guests and friends too. Just let her know in advance!
There are some lovely restaurants in the surrounding villages and towns. We are very happy to help you make reservations during your stay with us at Pech Long.
We are professional garden designers and horticultural enthusiasts and are currently creating our ultimate garden for you to be able to enjoy with us.
Almost all of the garden is there for you to use including beds of beautiful mixed perennials, swathes of ornamental grasses hiding secluded seating areas as well as a petanque court and swimming pool.
We have a working garden where we try to provide as much fruit and veg as possible to eat as a family and to share with our guests too.
